Well the last few days have been busy, we get regular
postings from the
DogLost website and Anna spotted our
Ruby the Viszla on it! It turns out that Ruby's name is Kat and she
had been stolen along with Rory the Cairn Terrier for her garden in
Pitlochery! Kat/Ruby has gone home now and is settling in again
well. Thankfully she had not been rehomed, as she had taken a
couple of fits and the lovely couple who were going to take, being
first time dog owners, realised that they could not cope.
The Cairn had already been rehomed before we got involved and I am
very sorry for the lady who took him on, but he also must be
returned. The lady who took him is in hospital at the moment and
her dogs are being cared for by someone else, so we have yet to
track him down. The whole thing is a mixture of sad and happy
really. Obviously the family are delighted to be reunited with Ruby
and are looking forward to seeing Rory the Cairn again, but my heart
goes out to the lady who took on the Cairn, poor soul, what a
welcome back, from her hip replacement.
